Mr Zurik IS Around!!

Yayyy!!!

Mr Zurik is around and well!

I was out on Monday afternoon but according to our part-time cleaner whom I met today, Mr Zurik did come to our compound on Monday afternoon, but he did not ask for food.

Instead, he just walked in, went to the garbage compartment, jumped onto the ledge and walked to the back, along the ledge walkway.

From there, he must have gone to another house on the road at the back.

Right from the start, a distant neighbour had told us that Mr Zurik comes from the road at the back of ours.

So, yay!  He is well and most likely has another food source. Even when he came to eat, it was just a matter of courtesy for the last few months. He was never very hungry. Just ate whatever that was served (his favourite being raw food, ie. Cubgrub) and he would go on his way.  Some evenings, he did not even turn up and even if he did, he would only want a bit of kibble snack.

And he’s 6.5kg and well, so that means he does have another food source.

Meanwhile, news has probably gone out that Mr Zurik has vacated his alpha-spot in our house because two other cats have been trying to take the spot at Stargate2.  This morning, one of the neighbour’s cats was waiting at Stargate2, at Mr Zurik’s spot.

It looks like the Feline News Network is super fast and efficient.

But no, most of the cats have homes down the road, so we will not be feeding anymore cats outside Stargate2.

Of course, Mr Zurik is most welcome to drop in for a snack at any time.

It’s still here for him.
