An International Affair

Their selflessness have brought many cheers to our animals in shelter. Gavin, a volunteer from Orangutan Project, brought 3 volunteers;- David from France, Jordan from Canada and Nathan from United Kingdom, to help us. It is indeed that they really lessen our workload to serve our residents better.

Gavin, David, Jordan and Nathan, your efforts certainly help our animal to get ready and increase its chances for a new home. Thanks for bringing cheers to our animals and socialising them too.

Note: Orangutan Project is a conservation company based on Borneo and have ventured into the bar business (Monkeebar). Orangutan Project is always looking for alternate, sustainable funds for conservation and animal welfare. A third of profits from Monkeebar directly funds Orangutan Project’s work on Borneo.

The Sarawak SPCA's mission is to act as an advocate on behalf of animals and as an enforcer of their rights; to provide for the well-being of the animals of the State of Sarawak who are abandoned, injured, subjected to unfair or cruel treatment, or otherwise in need; to cultivate in the people of our community an awareness of the animals whose world we share; to promote a bond of mutual assistance between people and animals; and to instill respect for and appreciation of all living things.
