Dog Killers Arrested in Thailand

She did nothing to deserve this. A street dog in the Songkhla province of Thailand was brutally killed last week for her meat.

Four migrant construction workers were arrested for the killing after a woman who feeds stray dogs reported the case. The innocent dog was snatched from the street, beat unconscious, and then dragged to the camp, where she was slaughtered.

The terror the dog must have felt in those moments before her death is almost too much to bear. YOU can help stop this from happening to other dogs. To join us in the fight against the dog meat trade, please go to http://bit.ly/fight-the-dog-meat-trade

The concerned woman followed a trail of blood to the camp, where she caught the killers red-handed. They were skinning the dog and preparing to cook the meat over an open fire.

We are waiting for the verdict. The killers will be sentenced under Thailand’s Prevention of Animal Cruelty and Provision of Animal Welfare Act. In the meantime, Soi Dog has provided a banner for display at the construction camp warning people that cruelty towards and animals, including killing and eating dogs, is a punishable crime.

This nameless dog lost her life in an act of heinous cruelty. Please help us save other dogs before it’s too late. For only a few dollars a month, you can save their lives >>> http://bit.ly/fight-the-dog-meat-trade
