Tabs Finally �owns� Something!!

When Tabs lived in Bunny’s Place, every time when there is something new (like a new bed or cushion or any item of interest), Tabs would be very curious and would try to use it. But very soon, one of the Cows will take over possession of the said item. All they would do is to come close to Tabs, stare her down and poor Tabs would move away. And from there, Tabs would not be seen near the item anymore. A Cow would own it.

So, Tabs has never been able to own anything interesting while residing at Bunny’s Place.

Now, that she’s out, we think she is really so much happier (and definitely, less controlled and dominated upon).

Yesterday, I washed this floor mat and we all know how much cats like freshly cleaned mats, sheets and towels. Pole also loves fresh sheets. So does Daffodil and this will be another story altogether.

Since yesterday when I laid down this mat, Tabs has been on it. She only moves away to the kitchen to eat and out to do her business and then, she quickly comes back to it. Or to greet me when I come home from work.

Ever since coming out to live, Tabs has more or less adopted Daffodil as her mentor. Tabs is not a leader; she is a follower. When she was living in Bunny’s Place, she tried very hard to follow Pole and Cleo, but as you know, these two aren’t interested in mentoring or making friends, so she couldn’t find a leader to follow.

Now, Tabs follows Daffodil. So, whenever I come home and through the door, I will be greeted by Daffodil, Ginger and Tabs.

They form the welcoming committee. Something money cannot buy….
