Updates On 4th Aug 2017

On the 2nd of August, Cheras Leisure Mall has made a historic mark in the Malaysian Book of Records for the ‘Biggest Mosaic Made of Crayons’ which was carried out in the Animal Tales event held from 15th until the 31st of July. With the tremendous help and participation from the public as well as their patience and dedication to sit all day and ‘colour’ each mosaic piece, they have successfully raised a whooping total of RM 45,000.00 which will be donated to SPCA Selangor.

On behalf of the SPCA committee, the team and all the animals, we wish to express our heartfelt thanks to the Cheras Leisure Mall management and PPB Group Berhad team for their awesome efforts to help SPCA raise funds for her work in animal welfare. The funds raised will go towards the Humane Education that SPCA does to help promote kindness to animals to the public. This is done through education talks, going out for roadshow, during events and special pet care program. We are indeed grateful that Cheras Leisure Mall has recognize our work and stepped in to support SPCA in her work in Humane Education.

SPCA Selangor would also like to thank the co-organizers, Crayola and the co-supporters; CoolWheels, PPJ, Dasein Academy of Arts, FG Wellness Solutions,and My Inkjet Print Sdn.Bhd. for making all of this happen. SPCA Selangor is an animal welfare organisation based in Ampang Jaya, Selangor. The aim of the SPCA is to protect defenseless animals and to alleviate their suffering.
