JUST BECAUSE YOUR PET IS OLD DOES NOT MAKE IT RIGHT FOR YOU TO DUMP IT!!

Last night at about 10pm we found a senior Golden Retriever tied up to our gate without the ex-owner so much of even showing their faces to us. The Retriever was malnourished, skinny, quiet and it looked confused but was friendly when we approached it. Dumping your pets is heartless, irresponsible and most of all, criminal! We would like to ask the public to identify the owner so that SPCA is able to direct this case to DVS as this case is officially treated as ABANDONMENT under Sec.29 of the new Animal Welfare Act.

Pets are not meant to be thrown away once you get bored or tired of it. They are your family and you are their only family…would you throw away your own children or relatives when they grow older?
