SURVIVORS OF THE CAT MEAT TRADE NEED YOUR HELP TODAY

On July 6, a butcher’s truck was intercepted in China. More than 100 cats were rescued and taken to an animal shelter operated by Chinese activists. Soi Dog�s International Director of Animal Welfare Dr. Katherine Polak and partner organisation No Dogs Left Behind travelled to the shelter in response to the Chinese activists� request for assistance.

Because of you and your donation, Dr. Polak was able to help vaccinate all the cats. She was able to create visual barriers between cages using towels to reduce the cats� stress. The cats got homemade hammocks and small boxes to help them feel safe and comfortable. Injured and sick cats got urgently needed wound treatment and medication. But there is still more to be done.
