SALUTING OUR NATION AND OUR HOME GROWN LOCAL BREEDS JAM

Its two weeks to our nations birthday and in honour of Singapores 52 years of independence, we salute our nation and our home grown local breeds. We will be featuring 52 of our local residents who are up for adoption from today right up until National Day week.

Meet Jam, a four-year old, Singapura Special. He was adopted in March 2014 when he was about 5.5 months old, but unfortunately returned shortly as the owner cited that Jam behaved anxiously.

Jam can be a sweet heart even though he might appear timid initially. He will require time to warm up to his new family. Jam can get very excited when he sees other dogs and needs to be taught how to behave appropriately when meeting his four-legged friends, using reward-based training. Jam is doing well with force free training and is also making continuous improvement in walking calmly at his handlers side. He will do well with a family who is patient with him and will continue his force free training.

If you fit the above description and would like to give Jam another chance, do come by to our adoption centre at 50 Sungei Tengah Road (http://spca.org.sg/contact_locateus.asp) to interact with Jam.
