PEANUT AND WALNUT

Peanut and Walnut are two red-footed tortoises rescued from the illegal wildlife trade in Singapore.

Each day Peanut is becoming more and more protective towards Walnut, another red-footed tortoise whom he shares an enclosure with. Peanut will block any human who tries to get close to his pal, regardless of volunteer or staff. Peanut and Walnut are generous enough to share food from the same plate, even though offered in different plates.

Wish to know more about Peanut and other animals at our sanctuary?! Become a Wildlife Supporter today! We promise to send you a beautiful, informative welcome pack and to keep you updated on chosen group of animals every two months!
