Introducing Tasmez

Tasmez is a new member of our sponsor programme. She came to the Soi Dog shelter along with a pack of 3 other dogs. They’d been trying to survive on their own, with no one feeding them or otherwise looking out for them. Tasmez is about 4 years old.

While she is now safe and well-fed, her past has made her distrustful of humans. Tasmez barks a lot when she sees people, and she may threaten to bite if people don�t heed her warning and approach her.

Soi Dog staff and long-term volunteers are patiently working with Tasmez to build up her trust. It will be a long process, but we love Tasmez and understand her wariness.

While Tasmez learns to trust people again, she needs compassionate people to sponsor her care. When you sign up to sponsor Tasmez, you will receive a sponsorship certificate and then regular updates and photos throughout the year.

Soi Dog Foundation

Established in 2003 in Phuket, Thailand, Soi Dog is Southeast Asia's largest organisation helping stray animals. The Gill Dalley sanctuary in Phuket is home to over 1,600 animals.
