Zero Trash For 15 Days And Going Forward!

We started practising zero trash on 1st July 2017 and am happy to share that we have been zero-trash for 15 days now!

All organic wastes are composted in our garden.

Reduce. Reuse. Recycle. (in this order)

All paper, cans, plastic and glass have been sent to the Tzu Chi Recycling centre.

I was wondering if hair and fur can be composted and yes, it can, according to this: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/composting/ingredients/composting-hair.htm

Hooray, so we don’t have to throw whatever is sucked up by the vacuum cleaner, which is mostly pet hair. It can be composted too!

For the planet, the animals and ourselves!
