URGENT: YOU CAN HELP CARE FOR DOGS RESCUED FROM THE DOG MEAT TRADE IN CHINA
Your gift now will save these animals’ lives: http://bit.ly/donate-for-the-dogs-in-China
Last week, Soi Dog Foundation’s International Director of Animal Welfare, veterinarian Dr. Katherine Polak was on the ground in China assisting our partners in caring for hundreds of dogs rescued from truck interceptions on May 5th and June 19th. In Zhengzhou, China, a shelter has been established to care for these survivors of the dog meat trade. Due to the brutal transport process, many of the sheltered dogs sustained severe wounds, broken bones, eye injuries, and were infected with a deadly and highly contagious virus known as distemper. At this facility, Dr. Katherine assisted in treating sick and injured animals and in establishing medical and sheltering protocols.
Donations from people like you have kept the dogs alive until now. Please don’t forget them. These dogs still need your help. Please pledge whatever you can today >>> http://bit.ly/donate-for-the-dogs-in-China
