SALUTING OUR NATION AND OUR HOME GROWN LOCAL BREEDS – LILY
Its three weeks to our nations birthday and in honour of Singapores 52 years of independence, we salute our nation and our home grown local breeds. We will be featuring 52 of our local residents who are up for adoption from today right up until National Day week.
Introducing Lily, our Singapura Special puppy. Lily was found together with her sibling, Daisy, under an overhead bridge at Bukit Batok in March, when the caller observed that both girls were shivering and without their mum for many hours. They were about three weeks old then.
As they were very young, we reached out to our pool of fosterers and had both girls placed under foster care.
Daisy was adopted about two weeks ago, shortly after she returned from foster care.
Lily is still searching for a forever home. She is one confident puppy who gets along fine with other dogs. Lily is looking for a family who has a nice, secure yard to play in and lots of time and energy, to bond with her.
If you are committed to caring for Lily, for the rest of her life, do interact with her at our adoption centre at 50 Sungei Tengah Road (http://spca.org.sg/contact_locateus.asp) to get to know her better.
