$115 A MONTH – RARE BARGAIN TO CREATE CAT HAVEN

Bosnian rescuer Rusmira Rodjakovic has been saving lives hand-over-fist and now she is asking for our help to set up a cat rescue center for only $115 rent monthly!

“Recently I’ve gotten an opportunity to rent a place that had been used as electronics storage for years,” explains Rusmira who lives with her family in the apartment above this rental space in Tuzla, Bosnia. “I’ve asked for a fair price if I do the repairing inside and got a good deal 105 euro per month with fees included (about $115 US Dollars). Once it’s repaired, this place, containing two rooms, would be used to offer temporary accommodation for abandoned, injured, sick and orphaned kittens and,for small puppies if needed. Kitchen elements and plumbing will have to be installed as the old one are not usable anymore, but those can be found quite cheaply.”

As you can see, there is a lot of work to be done to get the place ready, but it could soon become an absolute oasis for cats abandoned on the streets. Each cat will be quarantined until testing, vaccinated, spayed/neutered and receive appropriate veterinary care. The goal is to adopt the cats out to good homes, making room for the next urgent cases.
