LEARNING TO APPLY FIVE ‘WH’s and ONE ‘H’ AT ACRES: WHAT? WHEN? WHERE? WHO? AND HOW?

Preschoolers are a bunch of curious little people. It is always a pleasure for our education executives to observe and appreciate the uniqueness of their perspectives.

We were honoured to have kids from Raffles Early Learning Centre and My First Skool Childcare Centre (Chua Chu Kang 2) in May. It is an appropriate age for the children to know that Singapore has wildlife and to instill the responsibility in protecting these animals we have in this country. Apart from that, they learnt about the plight of the victims of illegal wildlife trade through the tour and the stories of the rescued reptiles housed here.

Animals are sentient beings and each of us do play an important role in helping the voiceless. To make an appointment to visit our rescue centre, please email Sumita at sumita@acres.org.sg.
