This morning, I was still up at 3am.
There was a huge commotion at around 2am in the porch. Cow & Bunny were engaged in yet another World War III and tufts of fur was flying all over. I suspect it had something to do with the Tulipspet spray. I must have removed their urine scent from the walls and they are upset.
Unfortunately, at precisely that time, Indy had just walked into the porch, probably back from a midnight stroll to his familiar haunts. Poor Indy, he was so scared, he ran out and his tail was triple its usual size (hair fluffed up).
I had to go bring him back to his sentry post and stay with him for awhile. Again, I think I could have "interefered" a bit too much this time because I had caught Bunny spraying around Indy's sentry post, so I had earlier used Tulipspet on these areas. Maybe I removed Indy's scent as well? 'Coz Indy didn't seem to like his sentry post anymore and started going back to the neighbour's.
Oh well, never mind, back to the drawing board...
Since I was up, I decided to make chicken soup for the Blueys and Bobby this morning.
So, I started brewing it, and at 7am this morning, after 4 hours, it was ready...
It was, however, strange that my son noticed the smell of something "awful", so he asked me what it was. We have not cooked meat at home for years now except for Bobby's quick stir-fried chicken every morning, so my son forgot what the smell of meat would be like. He said it smelled really awful... guess it does. That's cooking a dead animal, isn't it? Sorry...but that IS a fact.
As I quoted someone in my latest book, bury an acorn and it bursts into a thriving oak, bury a sheep, and there's nothing but decay.
Back to their chicken soup now....
I think the Blueys didn't mind it. It has shredded chicken meat in it, too.
Bobby, too...
But Baloo decided the chicken soup must be tastier "on the other side", so she went over...
Hey, Bagheers....Uncle Bobby's is nicer...come on over!
Strange...I had shredded the meat for the Blueys, but they want Bobby's with the bones.
Under supervision, I let them nibble the meat out from the bones. Maybe they prefer it that way? More natural?
