It was raining very heavily just now and the dowager (by that, I mean Daffodil) was sitting under the neighbour’s car on the road, too proud to come back into our porch.
I went out with a big umbrella to invite her back just as the rain started. She refused to even look at me. Just as she refused to face our house yesterday after Stargate2, Part 2 was installed.
The same pride. The defiance. The retaliation.
“How dare you confine me?!! I was born on the streets, it is my home. How dare you deprive me of my natural home!”
Daffodil, you are absolutely right. It is your natural home and we have no right to confine you.
But now, your reluctance to be confined has affected Ginger quite significantly.
The poor boy is so worried about his mum.
He sits at Stargate2, waiting, looking out.
So I had to console him.
Poor, poor boy…
He wouldn’t even eat his lunch.
I’ll try to get your mum back…
Heidi is helping too.
But she won’t come back. Simply refuses.
Ginger was mewing so much, I had to let him out.
But Ginger can be easily monitored. He won’t run off or play “catch” like Heidi.
Grooming in the porch.
I finally managed to lure her in for food.
Then, she wanted to jump again.
This time, I told her not to. “I’ll let you out, don’t jump. Please.”
So I let her out and Ginger followed. Heidi went out as well.
Oh well…
But after a few minutes, there was threat of rain and thunder, so I quickly brought Ginger back. Heidi came back on her own too. She just wants to play “catch” by going over to the next-door unoccupied house. But she would come back.
But the dowager?
No, she refused to come back. When I approached her, she ran out of the gate.
Everyone stayed at home during the rain.
I took an umbrella to invite Daffodil back from under the neighbour’s car from across the road, but she wouldn’t even look at me.
After the rain ended, Sihui came back and guess what, Daffodil followed her into the house.
Ginger is so happy.
Looks like she wants to “ronda” all day until evening.
To polycarb or not, that is the question.
For Ginger’s sake: YES
For Daffodil: Hmm…don’t know.
