So Daffodil slept soundly upstairs while we put up the polycarbonate sheets.
Without even watching, she knew what was going on (how DOES a cat do that?), so she decided not to waste her time or energy to do anything.
Just slept.
Then, she came down (after it was all done), and settled contentedly in the house.
She ate with everyone.
Groomed Ginger, let Ginger groom her.
Happiness.
She did come out to have a look at night, but only a very, very brief look, barely even tilting her head.
Can’t do it, right, Daffodil?
She went upstairs to sleep on the bed, earlier than us.
All night, she slept in between our pillows.
In the morning, she was on the sofa in the bedroom. It sure looked like she was with us all night.
I woke up very early, at about 4am.
Found Tabs on the bed, Heidi and Ginger came up too.
Daffodil stayed on the sofa.
Then, we all came down for breakfast and all seemed well.
It looked like the polycarb worked…..
Daffodil: You think?
