We came home and invited Daffodil into the house. She was in the porch and after some persuasion, she came in.
I raised the polycarbonate sheets to the highest possible level, but still using the S-hooks.
I do know that using S-hooks isn’t going to be a permanent solution. There would be a gap above the S-hooks and she can still heave herself up, but let’s just try, shall we?
In no time, I guess Daffodil went out again.
I was in the room, typing the previous post and I heard the sound of the polycarbonate hitting against something.
It’s Daffodil, for sure. She’s trying again.
By the time I rushed out (of course, expecting to see another you-dumb-humans victory lap), hmm…
Daffodil was on the ground, with Ginger close by.
It certainly looked as though…
shh…the attempt had failed?!!
Really?????????

Sorry, ol’ girl.

I know you are recalculating, right?
It’s just a matter of time before you’ll figure something out, I know.
But please, please, don’t hurt yourself.
P.S. To be fair, I only HEARD the sound of the polycarb hitting against something. I may be totally wrong on that assumption. Maybe Daffodil hasn’t even tried, right? There is also renovation work going on next door.
I think I’m going nuts.
