Thank you for your continued support – countless animals in need have a safe haven at the SPCA with the care and attention that they deserve, before they find their forever homes.
It is our mission to advocate kindness to animals. Our outreach programmes have allowed us to engage the public and educate them on the importance of animal welfare.
Our direct animal welfare services team carries out numerous rescues on a daily basis, and here are just a few of the highlights :
1) Miracle, the cross Persian cat, allegedly abandoned with a uterine rupture and prolapse (https://www.facebook.com/spcasingapore/videos/10154608759408155/)
2) Gracie, the allegedly abandoned Cocker Spaniel (https://www.facebook.com/spcasingapore/videos/10154751861333155/)
We are pleased to update everyone that Miracle has been adopted and is doing great with her adopters.
Gracie on the other hand, is still looking for her forever home. If you would like to adopt Gracie, do have a read of the adoption details at http://spca.org.sg/services_adoption_information.asp prior to emailing us at enquiries@spca.org.sg
Without donations from a generous public, the above would not be possible.
2017 will see the SPCA run a few new programmes as we work towards improving animal welfare in Singapore. Our most significant project is ‘Getting to Zero’, where our aim is to get to zero euthanasia of healthy and treatable companion animals: first at the SPCA, and then in Singapore.
We also plan to significantly upgrade our clinic this year with better equipment and increased resources so as to better serve community animals and pets from low income households. This will take a mighty fundraising effort but, with your support, we are confident that we can achieve this meaningful and high impact goal.
We therefore appeal to you, in the hope that you will consider making a donation to the SPCA this year, in support of animal welfare in the following ways:
1) Write a cheque or postal order made payable to the SPCA
(Please write “Donation Appeal 2017”, your name, address, ic and phone number on the back of the cheque and mail to Donation Appeal 2017, SPCA, 50 Sungei Tengah Road, Singapore 699012)
2) Donate online at Simply Giving (https://www.simplygiving.com/NonProfit/SPCASG)
3) Donate via credit card (http://www.spca.org.sg/payment.asp)
All monetary donations will receive 250% tax deduction.
On behalf of the animals, we thank you for your kind support.
