I HAVE RECOVERED FROM A TERRIBLE SKIN CONDITION AND AM READY TO FIND A FOREVER HOME! PLEASE ADOPT ME!

Please email ALL ENQUIRIES and questions to dana@soidog.org

When I arrived at the Soi Dog Shelter on Phuket, Thailand, everyone was shocked by my condition. I had a skin disease, open sores on my body and crusty eyes. I was depressed and uncomfortable. At just 2 years of age, I had already given up on living. Such is the lot of an abandoned street dog who has never known love. They said I was one of the worst cases of neglect they had ever seen at the Soi Dog shelter. My name is Gansito.

Thanks to people like you, the vets at Soi Dog could treat me and I am much better now – I look like a different girl! When I first arrived at the shelter I was so traumatised that nobody could initially get near me. I battled horrific skin problems – conditions that could so easily have been prevented – and a serious infection in both eyes, along with severe anaemia. But I have recovered and I’m ready to find my forever home.

As a result of my experiences it may take a lot of time, patience and dedication to win my trust. But, once I get to know you, I am affectionate and will come over to spend time with you. I get on well with the other dogs in my run and I love my walks although the volunteers say that I react to the dogs I pass and pull on the leash. I believe that if we go to dog training classes together I can be taught how to behave as I am a clever girl.

I have been through so much in my life and yearn for a safe place to call home. I have so much love to give and am ready to become part of a special family where I can live the rest of my life surrounded by people who care for me.

I have heard great things about the US, UK, Canada and the EU. Please adopt me!
