Living on the streets wasn�t easy. Every day was a struggle to find shelter and food. One day I was hit by a car. But I was lucky when a kind person found me and brought me to the Soi Dog shelter. My name is Tana Chard.

I had a deep, painful infection and a bad leg injury. Sadly, my leg couldn�t be saved.

Today, the trauma of street life and my accident has left me scared of people. I�ve never known what it is like to be loved. I need time before I can be adopted.

Soi Dog Foundation

Established in 2003 in Phuket, Thailand, Soi Dog is Southeast Asia's largest organisation helping stray animals. The Gill Dalley sanctuary in Phuket is home to over 1,600 animals.
