Not Your Average Street Dog

Ranida may look like a plump, fluffy puppy. But her sorrowful eyes tell a different story.

She is not your average street dog. Ranida�s mother was likely a purebred golden retriever � dumped in a public garden when she was no longer wanted. She relied on the kindness of strangers to survive. About 4 weeks ago she gave birth to a single puppy. A jogger in the area began feeding them, realising after a month that something was very wrong with Ranida.

It turns out Ranida couldn�t walk. She had no use of her hind legs. Since the day she was born, Ranida had been lying on the ground next to her mother. The jogger brought her to Soi Dog right away. Poor Ranida was found to have parasites, anaemia, and splayed legs.
