You saved Floyd’s life!

Floyd arrived at Soi Dog because he was a street dog under death threat. The first photo is him when he got here, scared and confused. In situations like this, people like you are vital to dogs like him. With no government funding, we would have had no way of sheltering and caring for Floyd were it not for regular donations from people like you.

Handsome Floyd spent nearly two years at our shelter before he was lucky enough to be adopted by vet nurse Lisa and family in Vancouver, Canada. Lisa had formerly volunteered at our shelter and we knew Floyd was destined for a wonderful life with her!

A few weeks ago, Lisa shared this progress update about Floyd:

“We went to the local Tulip Festival yesterday. It was a huge eye opener for me regarding how far Floyd had come these past 12 months. Last year at the tulips he would NOT sit. Ever. He was always in flight mode. So, we put him on a long line and took a LOT of standing photos. And this year at the tulips, he would do literally anything I asked of him. In fact he quite enjoyed himself and the zillion treats he earned. His confidence had soared tremendously and I am so proud of him.”

Soi Dog Foundation

Established in 2003 in Phuket, Thailand, Soi Dog is Southeast Asia's largest organisation helping stray animals. The Gill Dalley sanctuary in Phuket is home to over 1,600 animals.
