When our Soi Dog Rescue Officers first saw the place where I probably spent my life, they couldn�t believe their eyes. Garbage scattered on the floor, graffiti on the walls and there was me: living in filth, confined in a tiny metal kennel, crying my heart out.

I was most likely used for breeding. Used to make a little money. Neighbours told the Rescue Officers that our owner had a lots of debts and was facing prison. They decided to run away, cruelly leaving me behind in a locked house.

But enough from the past, let us talk about the present! A bit about me: I am around 5-6 years old and weigh around 5 kg/10 lbs. Despite my past I really like people and my tail wags enthusiastically when people enter my enclosure. However if you want to touch me, you need to gain my trust first. Once you do, I seek out your company and close my eyes in enjoyment while being patted.

As for the future: I would do best in a quiet home with no young children or cats. I can be placed with a friendly, tolerant canine brother or sister but they should be bigger than me, as I can be a bit bossy with other small dogs. I am scared to leave the safety of my enclosure, so a home with a safe enclosed garden would be ideal for me.

The people here hope there is someone out there who has the time and patience to help me overcome my fears and stroke all the bad experiences away. Please believe in me, please adopt me!
