My name is Retro and I am a lovely boy of around 3 years of age. I have fluffy black fur around my neck and stunning golden eyes – the staff here say I look regal and simply beautiful. I am such a good dog the people here say: funny, charming and full of love!

I was found on the streets of Phuket, Thailand with a severely injured front leg. I was alone and in terrible pain, I had no-one to turn to for help. So I was brought to the Soi Dog Shelter here in Phuket, Thailand where I received the treatment I so desperately needed. Sadly, my leg couldn�t be saved and the vets had to amputate it.

I have made a good recovery and adapted well to life on 3 legs. People say I walk well on the lead and get along with the other dogs I meet. When the volunteers come to visit me, I greet them with joy! I jump up in the air and try to paw the volunteers for attention, which they give me generously as they think that looks too cute. I love good cuddles and one-on-one time outside of my enclosure. Do I sound like the companion for you?
