I WAS SLASHED WITH A KNIFE

To show me just how unwanted I was, a human slashed my back with a big knife. I screamed out in pain and ran away as fast as I could, blood flowing behind me. When I finally came out of hiding and someone saw my condition, they called an Animal Rescue Officer to pick me up.

It�s not my fault I was born in the streets and have no home. I spent days feeling terrified. What would happen to me? The wound was throbbing with pain and as the days went by, it got bigger and bigger. They say it was full of ticks by the time I got here.
