RESCUER HAS ONLY 1 EGG TO EAT

Danka Kantar and her husband Zoran live in Bosnia where they care for cats and dogs in their humble home. Zoran has a serious heart condition and they’ve sold nearly all their furniture to pay for his medicine. Yet people in the community know of their compassion and keep leaving puppies on their doorstep.

“The people left more puppies in front of the door,” Danka said. “Now I have eight new mouths to feed and we’re hungry. Today is a holiday, and my Zoran and I have one egg in the house. Today we did not eat anything. Is that ok, Zoran drinks a lot of medication and has no food. I’m very sad, really. Please forgive me what I wrote to you.”

This is where the Harmony Fund comes in. We would like to ask your help in providing funds to feed these animals each month so that Danka and Zoran can feed themselves. (see food we’ve purchased in photo below) All animals are being spayed/neutered and we’re looking into international adoption to find many of them homes.
