Life of Strays 2017 is the first University Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) event that emphasis on strays issues! Strays are part of our community and it is our aim to show that humans and strays can cohabit, let it be dogs or cats! They are a bundle of joy, if we, humans learn about their nature and manage their population. How will Life of Strays be? Join our Life of Strays event day!Date: 13th of May 2017, SaturdayTime: 9am to 6pm Venue: New Block, Fakulti Sains & Teknologi, UKM Bangi!Various talks on animal rights, rescue, NGO… to animal health and diet and even dog psychology, training and body language! We have it all covered from talks from professionals, so pet owners or just animal lovers or if you wanted to give it a shot, come over to our event! If you don’t learn something, we give you back the entrance fee! *admission is free* However do note that furkids are not allowed by visitors as we are open to all members of the public, we want to be sensitive so that our muslim friends can listen and explore our battle for strays awareness in comfort! Thank you for your cooperation!On top of talks, we also have a mini pet expo, you could learn more about pet products and companies! Get your very own Life of Strays Merchandise there too! There are just too many things that are superb in our event so make sure to mark your calander! Brought to you by Welfare and Community Service Unit (unit under Chinese Community Council, UKM).Life of strays aims to :- raise awareness for managing strays and animal rights among students and public .- remove misunderstanding, misconception and fear towards stray animals through education of animal body language, animal nature and psychology and the spread of diseases.- create a platform to get information and involvement in animal rescue of NGO for students and public.- to invoke the sense of responsibility for all members of the public, including pet owners, in the battle of animal rights in Malaysia society.Come join us in our movement to transform Malaysia society’s perception on Strays! We welcome everyone, bring your parents, grandparents, children and your neighbours, we will make an overhaul for the life of Malaysia strays! See you there!
