KITTENS LIKE ME HAVE NO HOPE WITHOUT YOU

I was born into a world of pain. Something happened to my mother, and suddenly, I was all alone. I cried until I couldn�t cry anymore. Then I tried to find her. I took a few steps then heard a loud noise coming toward me. I flew into the air and onto the hard ground.

I don�t remember what happened next, but they say I was taken to a shelter. They call me Pepperoni. When I regained my awareness, I couldn�t breathe. I couldn�t walk. I was bleeding from my mouth. And the scariest part? I couldn�t see anymore. Everything was dark.

At first they had to feed me with a syringe. I walked in circles because of my head trauma. But I wasn�t suffering any more, and I knew that I wanted to live. Now I stay in a foster home with people who love me. A dog there cares for me like my own mother would. I�m blind but I can still see shapes and shadows. I�m getting braver and braver when I explore. Sometimes I�m still scared, but I have hope.
