LEND YOUR SUPPORT FOR BETTER CARE AND TRACEABILITY OF RABBITS SOLD IN PET SHOPS

The SPCA submitted a joint appeal to AVA (http://bit.ly/2n0gnkv), together with House Rabbit Society Singapore and Bunny Wonderland Singapore, seeking enhanced traceability and higher standards of care for rabbits in pet shops. This was after AVA recently announced changes to licensing conditions for pet businesses which we felt did not adequately address rabbit welfare (http://www.ava.gov.sg/docs/default-source/default-document-library/media-release—revised-pet-shop-licensing-conditionsbfb0881875296bf09fdaff00009b1e7c.pdf).

We would like to encourage you, your family and friends, to lend your support for higher standards in the pet industry by becoming signatories to our appeal – http://bit.ly/2nvxWFt. Together, we can make a difference.
