Buri was living on the streets when she was hit by a car. The impact knocked Buri�s eye out of its socket. It lacerated her back. Some caring people saw her and tried to help, but Buri was so terrified that she ran away. She spent an agonizing day in hiding, tormented by her injuries. Luckily, an Animal Rescue Officer was able to pick her up the next day and bring her to Soi Dog for urgent treatment.

Established in 2003 in Phuket, Thailand, Soi Dog is Southeast Asia's largest organisation helping stray animals. The Gill Dalley sanctuary in Phuket is home to over 1,600 animals.
