Adoption Spotlight - Maia

ADOPTION SPOTLIGHT MAIA

Meet Maia, our one brave puppy. At just two months old, shes already been through quite a lot.

A group of army personnel called SPCA in early March, notifying us of a puppy with a huge wound on her back. Our rescue officer, Daniel, attended to the call for assistance and picked up Maia, who was then attended to by our consultant vet.

Throughout the examination, Maia was very calm and collected, despite having to endure the discomfort and pain of having maggots in the huge wound on her back.

This brave girls journey of recovery has been amazing. She was initially at the brink of death but with her sheer determination to survive the odds, the gaping wound on her back is now a small dot.

With just close to three weeks of TLC from our staff, Maia is ready to proceed onto her next journey in life that of finding a forever home.

If you are committed to taking care of this determined and fast learner puppy, do pay her a visit at our adoption centre at 50 Sungei Tengah Road (http://spca.org.sg/contact_locateus.asp).
