Ranee was only about 10 weeks old when she arrived at Soi Dog. Clearly neglected for a long time, she was infested with ticks and battling a horrendous skin condition. Her right ear was raw and painful, infected with several maggot-infested wounds.

Established in 2003 in Phuket, Thailand, Soi Dog is Southeast Asia's largest organisation helping stray animals. The Gill Dalley sanctuary in Phuket is home to over 1,600 animals.
