I am a lovely girl called Blanche who has been living at the Soi Dog Shelter in Phuket, Thailand since I was 3 months old. I have never known any other life and it has taken a long time for me to gain enough confidence to walk with volunteers. I love my walks now but I prefer it when things are quiet and calm. When there are loud and sudden noises or bigger groups of people, I don�t like it. It scares me! Perhaps you are living in the countryside or a quiet area with minimal people and traffic around? Then I would love to go on nice walks with you!

When the Soi Dog Rescue Officers found me, I had an injury to my right hind leg and I was limping badly. The vets here at the shelter in Phuket, Thailand said that my hip was dislocated. Did someone hit me? Was I involved in a car accident? No one will ever know. What I know is that without people like you, I wouldn�t have been able to receive the medical attention I needed.

I am a sweet, affectionate girl once I get to know you – it will just take a little time and patience! After almost 4 years in the shelter, it will take a while for me to adapt to my new life in your home. I can be nervous of new people and new surroundings and no one can predict how I�ll behave outside of the shelter. However, if you�re willing to give me a chance I�m sure we can build a wonderful life together.

I get on well with other dogs but prefer the company of mellow canines. So, if your home comes with another nice and friendly dog, I will fit right in. I can�t wait to experience love and individual attention for the first time in my life! I�ve never had a bed of my own or toys to play with. Having my own family will be a novelty as well – it would be a great day when I can finally share all the love I have in my heart with YOU!

I have heard good things about the UK, US, Canada and Europe. Please don�t leave me in the shelter any longer. Please adopt me!
