AFTER 6 YEARS CHAINED, BEAGLE CAN’T STOP SMELLING FREEDOM!

Animal rescuer Norica Prigoana was attempting to buy a second hand stove when she caught glimpse of a beagle chained under an old vehicle in the seller’s backyard. She learned that the dog had been on that chain for six full years, not once taken for a walk or into the comfort of a warm home. The beagle, now named Lady, had no dog house, no bed, no nothing.Although it took weeks of negotiation, Norica was finally granted permission to lead Lady away to explore the wide world around her.

“Lady was amazed that she could run free to smell every single stone. She meet new dogs and cats and she was very friendly, She had no problem with meeting other animals as she was so happy to be free from the chain that kept her hostage for six years without possibility run even to move more than 1 meter. She is now very interested to see everything around her, but she is MOST interested in sniffing.”

Norica’s own dog shelter was completely full, so we sponsored the costs of Lady’s care at a foster center where her relentless sniffing continues.

The Harmony Fund is all about granting wishes to underdog rescue squads. Norica is very, very low on dog food. There is a $700 debt to pay off the last purchase of kibble and to provide meals for all the dogs at her amazing shelter for the month of March.
