In her face, we saw fear, pain, and a plea for help. When Mangkood arrived at the shelter, she was in agony and unsure of who to trust. She had been hit by a car and couldn�t walk. At 14 years old, she was already weak. Our hearts broke for her.

The vets found that Mangkood had bruising on her abdomen, and she was in severe pain. She couldn�t stand on her left hind leg. An x-ray revealed that Mangkood had a spinal fracture. And a dislocated left hip.
