Rosie (Day 21)

Rosie’s condition is deteriorating.
She has no appetite to eat at all. And she is turning very yellow.
This morning, I woke up at 2.30am and Rosie came downstairs with me. I offered her various types of food, but she couldn’t eat any, so I force-fed her. She is still willing to eat when force-fed.
She slept with me on the sofa for awhile.
When the shop opened later, I bought Tuscan kibble just for a change of flavour for her and several flavours of Natural Balance. Rosie didn’t want any of it.
Our stainless steel netting was installed yesterday so now, all the windows are open and Rosie has a free run of the whole house.
I contacted her vet and he advised to increase the Prednisolone to 1 tablet twice a day. There is also no stock of Maximus Hep, so I bought a few tablets of Cordy Hep to last until next week when the Maximus Hep stock arrives.
Rosie’s favourite activity is to watch tv with my husband, so we do that as much as we can.
Rosie is on a regimen of western and eastern (TCM) supplements and medicines. She had an acupuncture session yesterday.
Yesterday, Heidi thought the window was open (because the stainless steel netting is so fine), so she kept trying to jump out and got caught in the netting.
Heidi and Tiger provide feline company for Rosie in the house. Tabs, too. And I’m home all the time now so that Rosie will not be alone.
We thank you for your prayers for Rosie.
