Rosie�s Afternoon (Day 12)

Rosie had not defecated for a few days now. I didn’t want her to rely on Lactulose, but it looks like we have no choice, so I gave her 5ml this morning.

According to Jia-Wen (who was home), she was very quiet the whole morning.

When I got back, she was fast asleep.

Soon, I let her out and finally, she went to the litter box (the one with the OKO Plus) and started scratching.

YES! She defecated. Thank you, Lactulose.

I guess it must have been pretty uncomfortable, not being able to defecate for many days now.

I offered food after that, but this time, she wasn’t interested at all. Four types – no.

So it’s back to force-feeding.

I went to the pet store and bought some wetfood treats for her. Also not interested.

The vet had already cautioned me that liver patients are like that – it’s up and down.

Jia-Wen was cleaning his room today and Rosie has always liked his room…

Yes, a mirror!

Still pretty, Rosie…

But you have to eat, okay?
