Rosie�s Morning And Last Night�s Supper (Day 13)

Rosie didn’t have a good day yesterday. I’d like to think it was due to the fact that she hadn’t defecated in a few days and that she was given the Lactulose. But finally, thank goodness, she did defecate by late afternoon.

However, she didn’t want food and had to be force-fed, even after defecating.

Until…

…late last night when she had a bit of supper…on her own. A kibble supper.

This morning…

A kibble meal. I sneaked a little Nutritional Yeast and sprinkles of dry Primal into her bowl. But I think she only ate the kibble. It’s Go! Chicken and Go! Trout.

I don’t want your wetfood, I only want my kibble!

After eating, she mewed all over the house – this usually means she wants to pee or poo.

So I brought the litter box out to the living room for her. She has two litter boxes – one with newspapers in the cage and another with OKO in the bathroom.

Had to shoo Ginger away…

Oh, she just sat.

Well, okay.

This evening will be Rosie’s next subcut and blood test. I await with trepidation for the blood test results tomorrow but am slightly comforted by the fact that at least she is willing to eat on her own.

One day at a time…literally!
