Just now, I received an SOS call from a lady. She said her neighbour had just found a few baby kittens and had handed them to her.

She said she doesn't know what to do with them and her husband would not allow her to keep them at all.

She wanted me to take them.

I said I couldn't, but will source for fosterers if she sent me a photograph of the kittens and her contact details.

She wasn't willing to send me a photograph or reveal her details. She just wanted me to take over the kittens. And I cannot blog for help with her phone number without her permission.

Then, I said I'd teach her how to look after them, but she wasn't interested in that either.

Sometimes we merely ask for bare minimum in order for us to help, but if people are not even willing to do that bare minimum, what more can we do?

This is as much as I can do. If I had offered to take over the kittens, it wouldn't be fair on the Blueys, my six cats or my household again.

I can't even blog for help because she did not give me permission to publish her phone number, name or contact details.

Sigh...
