We made it!!
For once, after so many months in the challenging year of 2016, for January 2017, we did not have to dig into our reserves! And it’s all thanks to all of you for your kind and generous support! Besides our ongoing range of products, for our homesewn items (where 100% of your donation comes to our Fund), we sold 15 blankets, 8 applique bags and 94 foldable bags (10 more booked – awaiting payment). It’s incredible and overwhelming! We are deeply grateful.

From 1st Jan 2017 onwards, our neutering aid rates have been revised to a maximum of RM60 per cat and RM100 per dog. We don’t know if the reduction in the numbers this month (about half of the usual number) is due to Chinese New Year (?). Hopefully it is due to the public holidays and not because we have reduced our aid. We hope the numbers will pick up in February and more animals will be helped.
Revising our rates was definitely a very necessary and wise move. This way, AnimalCare can be around for a longer time now, to continue helping animals and their caregivers!
