While I am battling with trying to get Indy to come home, Khoo Beng Kai is also facing a same battle, trying to get Wangzhi to return home.
Last night, there was hope.....read on.
From Beng Kai:
Wangzhi was waiting at the gate when I came back at around 9.30pm. I asked Meiji (wife) to go down and prepare Wangzhi food while I remain seated inside my car outside the house as I worried will runaway again upon seeing me. Wangzhi went into my house when Meiji opened the gate. Meiji brought out the food but Wangzhi did not attempt to eat. He was very wary of the surrounding and at the same time constantly looking towards the cage. TenTen is inside meowing loudly, as usual. After waiting in the car for 10 minutes and Wangzhi still not eating although Meiji coax him to eat. Then Wangzhi walk out from the house and stop at the gate. At this point of time I decided to drive in my car. Wangzhi went to the drain and moments later he came up again and wandering outside the gate. I asked Meiji to open the gate and he walked in. Wangzhi walks around the house for a while and subsequently rested under the car. Then I went into my house, thinking Wangzhi is afraid of me. Meiji continued to coax him to eat but to no avail. About 15 minutes I decide to go out to feed TenTen food. The moment of surprise is as I open my grill door Wangzhi walk towards me. I then asked Wangzhi to eat his food and actually eat. I patted on his head and stroke his back. Both of us were extremely happy seeing him eating as I believed he last ate his meal was yesterday morning. As Wangzhi is still eating his food I carried TenTen out to meet Wangzhi and Wangzhi greeted TenTen with nose rubbing. TenTen was feeling a little terrified, keeping wanting to distance himself from Wangzhi. Right now Wangzhi is still resting under my car was I go inside my house. Note: Just before I sent out this mail I went to check on Wangzhi and he has gone to the opposite of the road. Hopefully everything will be well in the end. Cheers Khoo

Let's cheer Beng Kai and Meiji on as they do their utmost in trying to bring Wangzhi home and closer to them so that the steel wires can be removed when it's time.
I had earlier advised Beng Kai to give Wangzhi time to decide. Meiji and Beng Kai are already doing everything possible for him.
I believe deep down Wangzhi knows it was Beng Kai who saved his life; perhaps he just wants to roam freely again, having been a free roamer before this.
We hope he will come back.
