Please WATCH and SHARE this powerful video. Rescued from the Yulin dog meat festival earlier this year by volunteer activists, Winston was gravely ill. With loving care and medical treatment, he pulled through – but then faced another hurdle.

Winston, and approximately 100 other rescued dogs, were stuck in China, with no funds to get them to the foster homes that awaited in the U.S.

Established in 2003 in Phuket, Thailand, Soi Dog is Southeast Asia's largest organisation helping stray animals. The Gill Dalley sanctuary in Phuket is home to over 1,600 animals.
