JOIN US AS A WILDLIFE RESCUER!

We are seeking passionate individuals who want to play a hands-on role in saving lives, ending suffering through public education, and protecting wild animals by becoming a Wildlife Rescue Volunteer!

Here are the details for our upcoming Wildlife Rescue Training Programme:

Date: 11th February 2017 (Saturday)

Venue: ACRES Wildlife Rescue Centre (AWRC), 91 Jalan Lekar, S(698917)

Time: 10am 5pm

Fee: SGD $30.00

Wildlife Rescue volunteers assist us with round-the-clock rescues of injured/displaced wild animals all over Singapore.

During the training programme, you will learn:

- To identify and assess the types of rescue cases.

- Methods and principles behind handling commonly rescued wild animals (no live animals will be used for training purposes).

- About common behaviours of native species to provide sound advice to members of the public concerning encounters with/harmonious living alongside wild animals.

- To identify and assist with rescues of exotic (non-native) species.
