I am a small, beautiful and affectionate boy called Serif. I have around 11 years of experience as a BEST FRIEND. Nobody knows the story of my life. Did I have an owner once? Did I fend for myself on the streets all this years? All I know that I was clearly struggling with life when the Soi Dog Rescue Officers picked me up and brought me to the shelter here in Phuket.

My teeth are not the best and I suffer from osteoarthritis in my hind limbs. X-rays also revealed old fractures of the hips and dislocated kneecaps. The doctors here said that these are in-operable conditions, so I am hoping my new owners will be able to help me manage my health: I need to watch my weight (*sigh*) and get daily pain relief and joint supplements.

I am not as energetic as the youngsters and I tend to rest every once in awhile when out walking. But perhaps you like to take it slowly as well on walks? We could sit on a bench in a park together and watch the world go by! You could stroke my soft fur. I would like that very much, as I am so affectionate.

Although I am a bit older I got a cheeky side to me and like to play. I like to grab things and run away with them. That makes people laugh.

I haven�t given up hope to find a warm place where I can spend my last years. I do mingle well with dogs my size or bigger and I wouldn�t mind sharing my forever home with a canine sibling. Perhaps this forever home could be with you? Please make dreams come true!
