Neutering Aid For 1 Cat In Rawang (Norafaiza Bt Khadir�s)

We have sponsored RM60 for the spaying of this cat. The cat had dystocia (obstructed labour) and two fetuses had already died in her womb. The operation included a spay. This is one of the risks when street animals are not neutered. Sometimes they encounter serious problems like dystocia and can die on the street if not rescued.

It reminds me of Joanie, the cat we rescued from the roadside after her feeder had noticed her having trouble giving birth for a whole week. Joanie’s case was very serious as the fetuses had already turned necrotic and rotted in her womb. They were practically in a gaseous state. Joanie was ice-cold when we picked her up. But cats are so resilient, the surgeon saved her life. Joanie recovered in less than a week.
