MY LONG GREY HAIR AND GORGEOUS CHARACTER MAKES ME THE COOLEST CAT IN THE SHELTER CAN YOU GIVE ME AN INDOOR HOME?

A kind lady has donated some money towards my flight cost, so getting home me to you is even easier! Please EMAIL all questions to Lou@soidog.org.

I arrived at the Soi Dog shelter for life-saving treatment after I was found with a severe head wound. The infection was getting progressively worse and I was in desperate need of help. Thanks to donations from kind people like you, I received the treatment I needed and am now on a mission to find an indoor home of my own. My name is Blacktomb, will you please adopt me?

I am just 5 years and 4 months old and I melt the hearts of everyone I meet. They say I am the sweetest boy describing me as gorgeous affectionate and charming. I dont know what these words mean, but who can possibly resist a handsome cat like me??

Whilst receiving my treatment, the vets also examined my blood and found that I was FeLV positive. This means that I carry the feline leukaemia virus and I cannot live in a home with cats who have not been vaccinated against the virus. I can happily live with other FeLV positive cats but, as this virus spreads when cats groom each other, I will need to be kept indoors. I would hate to spread the virus to my neighbours!

During the blood test I also tested positive for the Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV) which is similar to the human immunodeficiency virus or HIV. FIV is a virus that causes AIDS in cats but it is important to remember that it usually takes a while before any symptoms of the virus occur. Most cats live for about 5 years after diagnosis for FIV and it cannot be transmitted to humans. It is a cats-only infection.

You can read more about the feline leukaemia virus by clicking here( https://www.aspca.org/pet-care/cat-care/common-cat-diseases) and information on FIV is available here (http://www.veterinarypartner.com/Content.plx?P=A&S=0&C=0&A=1313)

Do you have a comfy indoor home you can offer me? Please EMAIL all questions to Lou@soidog.org.

People are drawn to my beautiful, soft grey fur and cute face as well as my gentle nature and calm, caring personality. I have so much love to give! I enjoy lounging by the window having my fur brushed and chin scratched but what I dream of is having a forever home with my own humans to love!

With volunteers visiting Soi Dog from all over the world, I have heard amazing things about the USA, UK, Canada and Europe and I would be more than happy to travel to you, wherever you are! A kind lady has donated some money towards my flight cost, so getting home me to you is even easier!

Please dont leave me in a shelter, please adopt me! EMAIL all questions to Lou@soidog.org!
