Dear Dr. Chan,

A few days old kitten was left abandoned in my porch since yesterday morning.  As I have earlier seen a pregnant street cat on our vicinity,  I thought the mother cat had hidden the kitten in our compound and would be coming to feed her kitten as had happened once before.  However, that does not appear to be the case.  It appears like the mother had abandoned the kitten.  The kitten was making a ruckus throughout the night making it impossible for at least 3 – 4 to sleep.  My problem is that I am not an animal person at all.  And my wife has a blatant dislike for pets. Moreover, both of us are rather busy for the rest of this week.   Please help.  I hope you see this message early.
