THE DOG WHO SWAM HER WAY TO SAFETY

We will never forget Swimmers arrival at our shelter. It was early one morning that one of our animal carers noticed a dog frantically swimming across the wide pond in the rice field behind the shelter grounds. The dog was swimming in the direction of the shelter. When she reached the bank, the animal carer hauled her out of the water. This was our first introduction to Swimmer.

Wet, scared, and having clearly been dumped, Swimmer cried non-stop. Although she had brought herself to the safest place she could, she clearly missed the owner who had dumped her in the area and driven off without a thought for her welfare.

Will you please join the passionate group of animal lovers who help abandoned pets like Swimmer? The Emergency Response Team is a very special group of people who fund the medical treatment and ongoing care of animals that have nowhere else to turn. Please click this link to join the team now so that more animals like Swimmer can be brought to safety: https://ert.soidog.org/

Swimmer is settling in now and slowly getting over the trauma of being abandoned. Sadly, she is only one of many new cases this week alone. If we are to continue helping them all, we desperately need you. By joining the Emergency Response Team, more animals like Swimmer can be given a safe haven and the care they so desperately need. Please go to https://ert.soidog.org/ to make it happen.

Thank you.
